To disable an Admin User, follow the steps below:
1. Access the Users Section
- Go to Settings > Users or type in site.bookinglive.com/admin/users/Member in your web browser.
2. Search for the User
- On the Users page, click on the Search icon to open the Filters:
This will enable you to narrow down your search using specific parameters, such as username, email address, or user type.
3. Find the User to Disable
- Find and select the user you wish to disable.
4. Remove Security Groups
- Scroll to the bottom of the User's profile and click to remove all Security Groups from their account:
Removing these Security Groups is an important step in disabling a user's access to BookingLive, as it prevents them from accessing any features and functionality linked to those groups.
5. Save Changes
- Click Save to apply these changes. This will update the user's profile and remove any assigned Security Groups.
6. Disable the Account
- Scroll back up to the top of the page and click on Actions, then choose "Disable Account". This will complete the process of disabling a user's access to BookingLive.
What Happens After the Account is Disabled?
- Once the account has been disabled, the user will no longer have access to BookingLive. However, if needed, you can re-enable the account by following the same steps and selecting the Enable Account option instead. Also, do not forget to add them back to their corresponding Security Groups.
