If you have a Product that requires the mandatory use of multiple resources that you already have set up, you can create an Event Upsell product to manage the multiple resources required.


From the Admin menu, please complete the following steps to add a Mandatory Resource Upsell product.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Products
  2. Click Actions > Add Product
  3. Enter a name, you may want to name this the same as the Resource it relates to
  4. Select Event Upsell from the Type dropdown
  5. Click Save and close


You'll now need to link this Mandatory resource upsell to the relevant Resource by completing the following.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Products
  2. Locate and click on the Upsell product you have just made
  3. Set the Price to £0 or add a Pricing scheme point for £0, following the same process as any other new product, click Save
  4. Click Resources from the top bar
  5. Locate the Find Resources by Type, Name box in the top right hand corner 
  6. In this box type the name of the Resource this Upsell associates with, select the Resource then click Link Existing
  7. Click Save and close


You'll now need to assign this Mandatory resource upsell to the relevant product that requires the resource to be booked out, please complete the following to do this.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Products
  2. Locate and click on the Product your newly created resource upsell is required for
  3. Click Product Upsells from the top bar
  4. From the (Select type to create) drop down, select Booking Page: Upsell, click +Add
  5. Select the upsell you created from the Upsell Product dropdown
  6. Enter "1" in the Min and Max Quantity boxes
  7. Click Save and close

You can complete steps steps 4 - 7 multiple times if there are multiple Resources that are required for this products events.
