From Version 3.10.17 onward you can set up Group Pricing on a Single or Template event product that adds a specified amount and type of participants to an order for a set price e.g. you could use this to set up a "Family Ticket" where you have two Adults and two Juniors you get a discounted price.

Before you can set this up you'll need to have the various Pricing Points set up that go into creating your Group price, e.g. a price for Adult and for Junior.

Please take the following steps from your Admin menu to set this up:

  1. Click Settings > Products > the relevant Product > Group Prices
  2. Click Add Group Price, you'll first need to add a point for each of the single participant costs
  3. Enter a Name to match and Click Save
  4. Click Options then +Add Group Price Option
  5. Enter the Quantity of 1 then select the PricingSchemeKeyValue of the option you want to set
  6. Click Save and close, then Save and close again
  7. Navigate back to Group Prices and you'll be able to see the option for one ticket set up.
  8. Complete this step again for all Pricing points that relate to this product e.g. a single price for both Adult and Junior

When this pricing option is added to the basket it will add the relevant number of participants to the basket for the overridden cost we set e.g. this Family Ticket will add 4 participants at a set price, not the total cost of the tickets for 4 to attend.

Note: If you change the pricing scheme on your product, the prices on your options will be reset to the first price in the new pricing scheme. You will have to update the prices on your options as required.
